Explanation of "Off The Shelf" and "Customer-specified" tunes...
In a "customer-specified" tune, you tell us everything you want done to the computer programming. For example, you will need to tell us what trouble codes you want disabled, what you want the idle set at, top speed and rev limiters, etc.. If you want different ignition timing or fuel settings, you will need to specify exact changes and where in the RPM / load range these changes need to be. If you are using an aftermarket cam or have done extensive modifications to the engine that requires us to make many custom changes, you will need to use the CUSTOM TUNING option.
We have many "Off The Shelf" custom tunes that we will make available at this lower price option. One example of what we have to offer is a custom tune we already have made for a stock 3800 Series 2 SC 4T65-E engine/trans swap into an older vehicle where the emissions stuff and anything else that wasn't needed in the swap has already been disabled in the PCM programming. You can specify in these "shelf" tunes certain changes you need for your application such as tire size for speedo calibration, what thermostat you are running so the fan on/off temp settings are set up correctly, rpm and top speed limiters, etc.. Again, if you are using an aftermarket cam or have done extensive modifications to the engine, you will need to use the CUSTOM TUNING option. Support / Refund policy for above options...
All support / refund policies are effective for only 6 months from the original purchase date. If we don't make the exact changes you originally specify in the above tuning options, we will reprogram your computer with the correct originally requested changes at no extra cost to you. If we make one of the above computer tunes for you and you later find that you need something changed, we will reprogram your computer with the changes you specify for 75% OFF the regular "off-the-shelf" tuning price. If you are not satisfied with our services, we will issue you a refund for the price of the tuning service only if the following requirements are met...
No refunds will be given after 6 months from the original purchase date. No refunds will be given for shipping, insurance, or other charges; customer is responsible for all of these costs. No refunds (except for special circumstances) will be issued for .bin file orders since we cannot verify this file has been deleted from your computer.
