Example: Lets say you want to start out with a stock engine but need the PCM tuned right away to get it going; and you plan on upgrading by installing a turbo, supercharger, or extensive mod later that will require custom tuning. You can start out with the STANDARD tuning service (lower price), then if within the support period for this service (6 months), you can upgrade to the full CUSTOM tuning service for the difference in price. In other words, you would take the price of the custom tuning service for your application and subtract what you've already paid for the standard tuning service and then just pay the difference. The 1-year of support the custom tuning service carries would be effective starting at the date you upgrade (so you will get another full year of support).
